The FOUR-YEAR BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed.) DEGREE PROGRAMMES

In the Forty-Six (46) Public Colleges of Education in Ghana for the Academic year

WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants

The general admission requirements into the 4-Year Bachelor of Education

(B.Ed.) Programmes are as follows:

WASSCE Holders: CREDIT PASSES (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects

Comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language,

Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies and Three

(3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

SSSCE Holders

CREDIT PASSES (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising Three

(3) Core subjects, including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated

Science or Social Studies, and three (3) elective subjects relevant to the course of study.

Note: Candidates who are yet to write either the 2025 WASSCE or TVET

Certificate II Examinations can also apply as awaiting result applicants.

How to Access the Colleges of Education Admission Portal

1.    Explore the Colleges of education admission portal site

2.    Locate and click on Apply now to proceed.

How to Apply for Colleges of Education Admission

1.    Access the colleges of education Admission portal

2.    Select your registration type (Normal or awaiting results)

3.    Enter your PIN and serial number

4.    Click on the login button to proceed

5.    Fill application form and supply all required details, as well as attach a passport picture.

6.    An applicant’s passport picture should be in JPG or JPEG format and must not exceed 40KB in size.

7.    Click ‘Preview’ button to do any of the following:

8.    Click ‘Edit’ button to modify your application.

9.    Click ‘Save and Continue Later’ button to save your application form for the option of coming back at a later time to edit.

10. Click ‘Submit and Print Confirmation’ to complete your online application.

11. After clicking on ‘Submit and Print Confirmation,’ click the ‘Print Form’ button to print the Confirmation Page.

12. Keep your printed confirmation page safe. You will require your application form number.

14. Click on the ‘Close’ to go back to the login page.

15. Each applicant is required to print two copies each of his/her confirmation page and attach his/her results slip(s) and any other documents deemed important and forward same by post to the College of Education applied to. Failure to do so, means application won’t be processed

16. Quote your application reference/form number on your envelop.
