School Placement Steps to take if you are not placed

When the CSSPS site for the 2025 school placement goes up this week, almost 500,000 applicants will be able to see their senior high school placements.  Some students, however, may not be placed, and the purpose of this article is to provide advice to applicants who are not put in any of the five (5) institutions they have chosen. Explore how to Check your BECE results.

The next course of action for applicants who were not placed is self-placement.  Students that participate in self-placement choose from a list of open schools.  Are you unsure on how to proceed?  Take a look at it below.

·       Explore the csspswebsite

·       Enter your ten-digit index number and add 24 as the year of completion. Eg: 123456789025

·       Press the submit button and watch as the placement appears.

·       If the system does not place you, it will direct you to another page for self-placement.

·       From there, continue the placement.

If a candidate's selections don't match those of the automated placement system, the self-placement portal will redirect them.

The next stage is for a qualifying applicant to choose a school by supplying the information below.

·       Region and district in which school is located.

·       Residential preference (Day or accommodation)

·       School choice

·       Programme of Choice.

On the self-placement platform, candidates may switch schools as much as they want before enrolling in one.  During self-placement, understudies will be able to choose from all available schools on the site.
