The firm stated in a statement released on October 1 that previous frequently asked questions on its website had given "an erroneous impression of a contradiction" about the value offering, which went into effect the same day.
Customers were reassured that the program, which was created in coordination with authorities, will improve subscribers' access and flexibility throughout the country.
"The implementation of the joint media statement issued by the Honourable Minister, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, has already begun, and we fully support it," the business said.
MultiChoice said that a committee would examine the policy on a regular basis to determine its effects.
"The Committee will meet again in three (3) months to assess the effects of this effort, as stated in the aforementioned joint media announcement on the value offering. It clarified that this will be a recurring activity.
The broadcaster emphasized that subscriber options are unrestricted. The bouquet selection of a subscriber is unrestricted.
Starting on October 1, 2025, both new and returning clients may take advantage of this deal," the announcement said.
Additionally, MultiChoice expressed regret to its clients for any uncertainty its previous correspondence may have created. The business ended by saying, "We sincerely regret any inconvenience the FAQs may have caused."
The approval comes after improvements in the pay-TV industry were described in a joint news conference with the National Communications Authority, MultiChoice Africa, MultiChoice Ghana, and the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations.
It is anticipated that the program would alleviate tensions between MultiChoice and regulators by addressing long-standing complaints over affordability and fairness in DStv pricing and offers.
